On 3 April 2023 members labelled residency kit on a quiet Tuesday so research week crates did not sit unnamed in a corridor.

Mid 2020, after the Leadworks occupancy, members packed studios back into bags and kept a van slot in view.

Thank you to everyone who voted for the new CAMP Directors.
They are Elena Brake, Rachel Dobbs, Vickie Fear, Sophie Mellor, Rhys Morgan, Katy Richardson, Lucy Rollins and Hannah Rose.
The Directors will be in post for 18 months, after which four Directors will stand down and three more will be voted in (bringing the total Directors to seven from then on). Then the remaining original four Directors will stand down 6 months after that, and four new Directors will be voted on.
The initial Directors will be setting up CAMP: organising a bank account; becoming a CIC (Community Interest Company); collecting and administrating membership fees; writing a programme of events; fundraising for the programme; and running the programme. They also hope to raise enough money to fund an Administrator to take over the day-to-day running of CAMP.

In the recent membership survey, we asked people what they would like CAMP to do, and what they would like to do with CAMP.
High on the Very Important tick boxes were: mentoring scheme; studio visits with visiting artists/curators; exchanges with other arts organisations; peer critiques; go see visits; and Annual General Meeting.
High on the Important tick boxes were: reading group; talks; pecha kucha nights; supper clubs; and workshops.
We will be using this info to inform near future programming and funding bids. Watch this space!
